Is there really no version of Solitaire where you can pay once and skip all the ads? I can deal with small banner ads, but being forced to watch videos or pay a subscription for something as simple as Solitaire seems crazy to me. Any suggestions?
You should check out ‘Full Deck Solitaire.’ It’s ad-free for just $5, and it comes with 53 different types of Solitaire games! It includes all the classics and some unique ones I’ve never heard of before.
I think the Zachtronics collection might have a version of Solitaire, but I’m not 100% sure. You could also try looking on itch.io for some paid options.

Nope, the Zachtronics collection doesn’t have a regular Solitaire game. Here’s what the description says:
‘Inside you will find seven totally unique Solitaire games originally designed as mini-games for our 2016–2022 releases.’
I tried it out and found that I wasn’t smart enough for most of them.
@Cody
Oops, my bad! I thought one or two of them looked more like traditional Solitaire when I was checking it out. Guess I misremembered.
I found some paid ad-free versions in the Premium section of the Play Store, so I’ll look into those. If anyone has other good recommendations, especially for a tablet, I’d love to hear them. I didn’t even realize there was a Premium section—I thought everything was just lumped together.

The Google Play Games app (the one pre-installed on most Android phones with the green logo) has basic games like Solitaire, Minesweeper, Snake, and Pac-Man. You can even play them offline.
Here are a couple of options:
- Solitaire - The Clean One: It’s simple but has a nice design.
- FlipFlop Solitaire: This one’s a bit different. You can stack cards on any suit, but it doesn’t make the game easier—it’s just a new twist!
PysolFC is a great option if you’re looking for something free and open-source. It has hundreds of Solitaire variants and no ads. You can download it on F-Droid.
If the ads you’re seeing are coming from Google, you might want to try using a DNS blocker to get rid of them.
I really like ‘Solitaire Megapack,’ but there’s a catch. You can buy it on the Amazon Appstore for just 99 cents. The version there hasn’t been updated since 2011, which is actually a good thing! You get 130+ versions of Solitaire with no ads or in-app purchases. The Google Play version, on the other hand, is ‘free’ but costs around $20 to remove ads. I stick with the old Amazon version—it works perfectly and lets me play without any nonsense.
