Maybe it’s a slow rollout. I don’t see it on either of my phones yet.

Good question. I really like this feature and hope it works for upgrades.
Now that it’s only on my phone, I can’t check when I visited places in Google Maps. That was one of my favorite features.

Same. The place cards showing last visits were the main reason I used Timeline. Now it’s just gone.
Does this mean no more monthly timeline summary emails?
Honestly, I’m okay with this. I prefer keeping stuff local to my devices anyway.
Wow, Google caring about privacy? Phones are powerful enough now that they should let users store as much as possible locally.
