Don’t count Samsung out just yet. They’ve been ahead before, like during the 64-bit era. Things could swing back in their favor with GAA technology.

People forget how often the lead shifts between foundries. It’s all about who gets it right next.

I want competition, but I also want TSMC to stay strong. Their success helps keep Taiwan safe from outside threats.
They said the same about 3nm, and look how that turned out. Yields didn’t improve in time.
This doesn’t look promising.
Seems like most companies are steering clear of Samsung chips for a reason.

Samsung could use its own chips in their phones to build confidence, but they don’t even do that.
