The OnePlus 13 Series launch is on January 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM EST. What are your thoughts on this phone? Is it worth the hype?
The phone is already available in China, and it seems pretty good overall. For it to do well globally, I think it needs to be priced lower than Samsung. Let’s hope they don’t raise the price.

The camera is such a letdown though. I’m usually okay with ‘good enough’ cameras, but this one is pretty bad. I almost bought it but ended up choosing Xiaomi 15 Pro or Ultra instead. If Samsung’s S25 is actually better, I might go with that.

Really? It’s not the best camera, but have you seen comparisons between the OnePlus 13 and the Galaxy S24 Ultra? In every video I’ve watched, the OnePlus 13 camera looks better.

I think I’ve seen some of those, but I’ll check again. The global version isn’t out yet, right? I really like the design of this phone.

The global version should launch on January 7. You should check out the YouTube channel Techmo; they’ve done some great comparison videos, and their reviews are pretty detailed.

What? The OnePlus 13 basically has the Oppo Find X8 Pro’s camera, just without the 6x zoom. It’s competitive with the latest iPhones and even outperforms the Galaxy S24 Ultra up to 5x zoom. You should look up comparisons between the Vivo X200 Pro and the OnePlus 13 to see how good it actually is.

Okay, I take back what I said about the OnePlus 13’s camera. Looks like they really stepped it up this time. I might end up buying it on January 7 unless the Xiaomi 15 Ultra or Galaxy S25+ change my mind.
