I’ve only tried ultrasonic sensors on older phones (like the Galaxy S20 Ultra), and they were terrible. Since then, all my phones have had optical sensors, which I find fast and reliable. Are ultrasonic sensors better now?
@Kip
They’ve improved a lot. The sensors are bigger and more affordable now, which is why many phones are switching to them.

Why is throttling considered a downside? It prevents overheating and improves power efficiency and battery life. Even with throttling, the performance should be more than sufficient.
An overlooked downside: even though it’s a flagship, it uses Gorilla Glass 7i instead of Victus or Victus 2.

You can still import a OnePlus if you want.
@Reese
You could just ship it back. Import shops often have partnerships with repair centers, like Trading Shenzhen in Europe.
