I would really like to go from iPhone to Android, preferably Pixel. My spouse is an iPhone user and will not get off of it. I discovered that transferring live or motion photographs between Android and iOS does not appear to be supported when I tested Apple’s RCS support. Unfortunately, we do not think this will work.
Is it planned to allow sending live images from iOS to Android? Or are there any other chat apps that enable this that I am not aware of?
I must admit, I am confused by this question. Although I am not very knowledgeable about live or motion images, from what I have read online in the last ten minutes, it seems that the file formats are essentially the same—an image file with information and a video attached. A quick Google search indicates that there may be a carrier problem with this. Are you an AT&T customer? If so, have a look here as it appears that there is a problem with AT&T and that if you off cellular data connections, you can send these files.
Any type of file that fits under a certain size limit can be sent using RCS as an attachment. Is it possible to try this from an iPhone to an Android device.
