Which battery, software and photos are better?
A55 one ui its feature rich and no one can beat good lock and Modes and routines…
When I was buying a new phone recently, I considered also Samsung phones. Once I found out that Samsung is still using crappy AMOLED panels with extremely low PWM frequency, I just went with Oppo 11F (which is still bad for eyes below 50% brightness, but not so much). Samsung has 240Hz, Oppo ~2000Hz. This is good enough reason to avoid Samsung completely.
To answer your questions - I don’t record voice messages, but so far no one complained about my voice during phone calls. I can use Bluetooth mic without any issue (this should work also on Samsung though, it’s hard to believe that they don’t support it). Mono speaker is a slight disadvantage, but not because of the missing stereo effect. The speaker is located at the bottom and clarity is slightly worse than with top/dual speakers. I noticed it mostly when driving and using my phone as a navigation with loud speaker, or if I hold my phone “wrong” and cover the speaker.
I would say Samsung a55…
I’ve got myself the a55 and am fully convinced that the smartphone industry has officially matured in this day and age that the mid range is the way to go now.
It’s insane how flagships these days are only like 5-15% faster or better in terms of hardware for more than double the price of the midrange segment.
No flagships for me anymore personally, times have changed
I downgraded from S21+ to A55 (12gb/256gb) previous month. I don’t feel much difference in quality whatsoever. I intend to use it for light purposes which you mentioned. I also tend to cleanup my phone time to time.
So far, the look and feel has been excellent and I’d definitely recommend if you use it for lighter purposes.
However, if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
