Hi everyone,
What’s your favorite Android app purely for its design? I’m talking about apps that just feel great to use—whether it’s because of smooth animations, an easy layout, or just how nice it looks.
I’m especially curious about apps that feel simple but still get the job done perfectly. Bonus if you can say what makes their design stand out to you!
I’m working on an app idea and want to learn from the best examples out there.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Telegram for sure. The animations are so smooth, and it’s super fast even with all the features they’ve added.

Agreed. Telegram has so many features, but it still feels simple to use. They really nailed it with the design.

I think I’ve seen that app before. Isn’t the creator active on forums for Flutter developers?

The Google Clock app is really well-designed. It works great in landscape mode, and the way you can punch in timers like a calculator is genius.

Anyone else think nzb360 has one of the smoothest UIs out there?

My favorites are spmp and kotatsu. Both are on F-Droid.
They have material theming.
Colors adapt dynamically.
They’re super minimalistic.
You can tweak them to fit your needs.

Check out PowerAMP music player. The animations and transitions are next level. Here’s a quick demo: Streamable

I like it too, but I find the graphs a bit tricky to work with.

I don’t think its design stands out that much though.
